The conversion brands we carry

A “hauler” is a factory cab-and-chassis — Freightliner M2, Ford F-450/F-350, GM 3500 — finished by a specialist upfitter with a custom bed, an upgraded interior, and a suspension built to tow. Each shop has its own signature. Here’s who we stock and what sets them apart.

Laredo Conversions

Practical, payload-focused builds with a genuinely functional hauler bed and a comfortable cab, without the six-figure premium of the fully custom shops. We’re also the place to spec a new Laredo to your exact build.

SportChassis

The Freightliner-recognized name. OEM-completion M2 builds with composite hauler beds, factory-matched interiors, and the big-block torque the offshore crowd wants.

Schwalbe

Famous for the “Schwalbe Stretch,” a lengthened cab that turns the truck into a true four-door cabin with limo-like rear legroom and air-ride seating throughout.

Western Hauler

The old-school luxury benchmark: high-gloss walnut consoles, exotic leathers, western stitching, and heavy steel hauler beds.

Bolt Custom

Integrated-sleeper, open-concept cabins built in aluminum with vibration-proof fasteners for a light, rattle-free ride.

Summit Hauler

Engineered around ride comfort, with sound-deadened soft-touch cabins and a bed design that helps the truck settle under load and cut driver fatigue.

Luxe Trucks

All-aluminum hauler beds and Trailer Saver hitches across Ford, Freightliner, and Dodge chassis; the sister brand to Luxe Fifth Wheels.

2L Customs

Show-truck attitude: custom paint, blacked-out trim, and personalized interiors that bridge a work truck and a statement piece.

Buying from an Out-of-State Dealer: Florida Tax & Titling

Buying a truck from an Indiana dealer and registering it in Florida is routine, and the tax picture usually works in your favor. A truck delivered to you out of Indiana is generally exempt from Indiana sales tax. You then pay Florida use tax when you title and register it.

Frequently asked questions

What brands of hauler trucks do you sell?

We carry used conversions from the major shops — Laredo, SportChassis, Schwalbe, Western Hauler, Bolt Custom, Summit, Luxe, and 2L Customs — built on Freightliner, Ford, GM, Peterbilt, and Kenworth chassis. We can also spec a brand-new Laredo to your build.

Do you need a special license to drive a hauler in Florida?

No, not for personal use. Florida does not require a CDL or special non-commercial license to drive a hauler or RV for personal recreation, regardless of weight — unlike Texas or California. If the truck is used commercially, commercial licensing applies. Confirm your situation with the FLHSMV.

Can I buy a hauler if I live in Florida but you’re in Indiana?

Yes. We’re an appointment-only dealer in Bloomington, Indiana, and deliver throughout Florida. You choose the truck, we recondition it and confirm a timeline, and it arrives at the address you choose.

How much is Florida tax on a truck bought out of state?

When you register an out-of-state purchase in Florida, you generally pay 6% use tax on the purchase price plus a county surtax on the first $5,000 of value. A truck delivered to you outside Indiana is typically exempt from Indiana sales tax. Confirm current figures with your county tax collector.

Are your hauler trucks new or used?

Most of our inventory is hand-picked, reconditioned used trucks — we specialize in low-mileage, well-kept conversions. We also build new Laredo trucks to order for buyers who want to spec a truck from scratch.

What’s the best hauler for towing a boat in Florida?

It depends on the boat. A mid-tier Ford F-450/F-550 or dually handles most center consoles and trailerable powerboats comfortably. For large offshore boats or long hauls, a Freightliner M2-112 build gives you the most capacity and the steadiest tow.
