Build the flagship to the load.

The M2-112 sits at the top of the Laredo lineup. It starts as a commercial Freightliner chassis — air-ride suspension, Allison automatic, the stopping power of a heavy truck — and gets the full Laredo treatment from the frame rails up. Everything below is where the spec starts.

Frequently asked questions.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes. As the exclusive online dealer for new Laredo builds, we arrange transport to your door anywhere in the continental United States. Delivery is quoted with your build.

What’s the lead time on a new build?

Because each truck is built to order, lead times vary with chassis availability and the spec you choose. Your specialist confirms an estimated build-and-delivery window when you lock your configuration.

Can I finance my conversion?

Financing is available through our lending partners for commercial hauler purchases.

What warranty applies?

The Ford chassis carries its standard manufacturer warranty. Laredo conversion components are covered per Laredo’s build warranty — details are provided on your final build sheet.

How does the ordering process work?

Configure your model, submit your build to a specialist for review and pricing, confirm your order with a deposit, then track the build through to delivery. We stay with you at every step.

Do I need a CDL to drive an M2-112?

The M2-112 is a commercial-grade Class 7/8 chassis, typically rated over 26,000 lbs GVWR, so licensing depends on the truck’s registered weight, your state, and whether you use it personally or commercially. Many owners operate under a non-commercial class licence; others hold a CDL. Confirm the requirement with your state’s DMV before you buy.

Is it hard to drive?

Less than you’d expect. The M2-112 is specced with an Allison automatic transmission and air-ride suspension, so it drives more like a very large pickup than a manual semi — with the bonus of heavy-truck braking and visibility when you’re towing at the top of the weight range.

How is the M2-112 different from a pickup hauler like the F-450 or RAM 3500?

The M2-112 is a commercial Freightliner chassis built for loads beyond pickup range — 30,000+ lbs — with air-ride, an Allison automatic and the presence of a semi. The Ford F-450 and RAM 3500 are one-ton pickups, ideal up to roughly 40,000 lbs gooseneck, easier to live with day-to-day, and generally drivable on a standard licence for personal use. The flagship is the answer when the trailer outgrows the pickup.
