This is the celebration given at the second children’s building we created! Traveling to see all the amazing work that we have completed has been nothing short of incredible.
This center regularly serves over 120 children. For our visit we were treated to amazing cultural dances, celebrations, food and more. We setup a piñata for the kids with candy which was a lot of fun.
I also did our Christmas drive while we were down there and we had bought toys for over 200 children. The results are incredible.
I traveled to Nicaragua this trip with Max. He’s been a best friend of 30 years. He’s a local captain (soon battalion chief) of Bloomington firefighters. Max had also accompanied me on my first two journeys to Nicaragua 10 years ago in search for artists and doing good deeds. I’ve attached photos of us helping communities a decade ago as well!
